My family has recently chosen to enhance our biking adventures by introducing my child to the joy of riding with us. We recently acquired the ‘Eton Front Mounted Baby Bike Seat’ from Amazon and have had a blast with it. This sleek yet secure bike seat promises hours of fun on our electric bikes all with my toddler placed front and center.
Whether it’s the extensive trail system in St. George, UT, or a leisurely ride along a scenic dirt trail near our house, these bikes can handle it all. But here’s where we had some challenges: the e-bikes come equipped with a rectangular, slightly larger-than-average battery pack mounted on the front frame. That battery pack powers the motor and takes up valuable real estate where the seat should go, so choosing the right seat was crucial.
Versatile Compatibility: Whether you ride a folding bicycle, a city shared bike, a mountain bike, a road bike, or an electric bike like ours, this seat has you covered. With multiple types of seats, you can be sure to find the best one for your needs. After reviewing our choices online, it was explained that Type A suits bikes with a front beam (think mountain and road bikes), while Type B is perfect for bikes without a front beam, such as electric bikes and women’s bicycles.
